My response to Haiku Horizons week 97 prompt “cruise”
Sedate sails like swans
Glide across the horizon
Norfolk broads and reeds

Although I have seen this so many times, I have never been able to capture the image!
This is beautiful, the poem and the image. Mine is more boisterous:)

Cruising n the Broads is beautiful. I can’t think of a better place for messing about in boats. 🙂

Should be ‘on’ – I was trying to type on a Kindle and my fingers just don’t like it! I work better on a keyboard. The Broads is the Norfolk Broads, a huge series of lakes and rivers in Norfolk, where I live, which became very popular with Victorians who liked to cruise the Broads on wherries and other sailing boats. You still see sailing boats and in the summer there is an annual race on one of the main Broads. It’s a beautiful area, peaceful and full of wildlife.
