I cannot ignore
the pain that bores
through my eyes
and into the orbs
of my skull
a dull
throb
robs
me of creativity
silences poetry
drags words
into a black hole
leaving visual trails
traces of snow
and ice
that freeze me
In a migraine

Thank you Graeme. I’m about to take a cup of tea up to bed – the blinds are already drawn.

And as you live by the sea…
Just ignore the old adage that ‘those who live by the sea; die by the sea!’ This only works in Hove or Bournemouth. G:)

Thank you. It’s eased off a bit now and I’m back at the laptop.
