Hibiscus

My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Wordle #95 

 

In the human garden

The flamboyant hibiscus

Refuses to fade

Even in a downpour

Drenched and dolorous

Her vibrancy never deadens

Or succumbs to attrition

Both goddess and offering

She elicits no fear

In adversaries

Retracting her irrelevant claws

Into the luscious trumpets

Of her flowers
