My first attempt at a cascading haiku in reposnse to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille “moonlight”
purest silver light
cascades into darkest night
heaven’s lantern
heaven’s lantern
constant but drawn by the tide
fades into black
fades into black
from a smiling face
to a winking eye

winking eye is what touched me…My dad had the sexiest wink and this music reminds me of my parents dancing.

The repetition of the Cascade plays so well with this! ‘Fades into black Fades into black’ – like a well-timed echo. (Must give the form a try!)
