My response to Carpe Diem Special #201 Basho’s disciples: Morikawa Kyoroku’s ‘morning glories’
early rays of sun
unravel grey morning mist
frost begins to thaw
*
early rays of sun
outline shadows with silver
dew drips from branches
*
early rays of sun
trace peaceful looping river
heron dips its head

great picture Kim it looks like a beautiful place to live and visit. Love the fog it would be a great place to write a murder mystery. LOL

East Anglia is full of history and mystery. We have villages under the sea, a castle with a dungeon in Norwich, plenty of ghosts and stories. It’s mainly flat with enormous skies and sometimes you can see the sails of boats on the Norfolk Broads that look like they are gliding across a field!
