My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Music Prompt #34 “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding. It’s not my taste in music, but I was happy to take some of the lyrics and twist them into something more death metal!
Night’s blood
Is a painful cure
For love
Dark satellite of a world that’s dead
Offers only
A putrefied corpse
Ashes of a burnt-out heart
Salome’s platter with a severed head
Spinning

Such intensity – love the play on words as well as presentation 🙂
Beautifully executed. Thanks for joining us Kim.
Lots of love,

Dark side indeed, deliciously macabre. Regarding my Cinemagenic series, BLACKTHORNE, what you read yesterday is only a review, synopsis, of the 54 two-page episodes written over the last several year. If interested just find BLACKTHORNE entries in my blog archives.
