My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Photo Challenge #105

The Lady of the Lake

Has relinquished Excalibur,

Released Merlin

And taken up the pen.

Her rhymes are regal,

Metre magical;

Poetry of romance, love and death

Blown across the lake on misty breath.

The Lady of the Lake does not mince words,

Now that she knows

The pen is mightier than the sword.
