My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Tale Weavers 58: Vernal Equinox and linking up to Jacqui’s Echoes of my Neighbourhood over on A Cooking Pot and Twisted Tales.
A blue-grey blur
Against stone walls
Wide wings whirr
Haunting falcons call
A flash of white breast
Buffeted higher
To their nest
On the cathedral’s spire

Gorgeous birds. Your clipped phrases capture their rapid flight.

They are equally very strong birds. Well written Kim. Just woke up to so much. I have posted Echoes now.

Delighted you like it, Carol. There is a webcam blog of the peregrines and many visitors to the cathedral are following their progress. They’ve been there quite a few years now. Even the BBC have a webpage for them!
