In the hall
I hear the distant
metallic
rock and click
of the midnight express train
fade away from town

A familiar sound, living near the village train station. It’s a small village.

We don’t even have a train or bus. It’s very quiet here, except for when farm vehicles pass through the village.

Ah, trains can be beautiful to watch. Sometimes the best graffiti passes by. They do sometimes squeak loudly. Nor so much fun then. Otherwise, could watch for hours.
