My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie B&P’s Shadorma and Beyond – Tritina Poem
Steep tangle of forest spills
Over shoulders of promontories,
Falling and rising to the lake.
Mirrored in the surface of the lake,
Amongst the ripples and the spills,
Are stony faces of promontories.
Smooth, worn rock of promontories,
Rolling down to the still water of the lake,
Is refreshed and soothed by the spills:
The echo of water spills down promontories and fills the lake.

Bravo Kim, you did a great job writing to the painting … loved the poem, it gave me a sense of passing time but also serenity … a great combo!
