When the Birds Stop Singing

My response to Carpe Diem #1014 dawn, also linked to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie’s Friday Music Prompt # 54: Sound of Silence, cover by David Draiman and Disturbed

Today’s inspirational quote is from Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941):  “Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.”

At dusk, clouds of birds

fill the sky, wings disturbing

leafy trees. Silence

penetrates inky darkness –

the birds have stopped singing.
