My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Wordle Special Addition Scent “August 8th, 2016”

That October night resounds
Not in sights and sounds
But in the redolence
Of the moment
You took me in your arms.
You were late,
Lost on the Norfolk coast,
The sunshine of the day
Had faded into mist
And autumn darkness,
Your earthy embrace
An acrid odour
Of peppermint gum, musk,
Car exhaust and faint sudor.
You carried a bouquet,
Its perfume drowned
By jasmine incense I had found
And the inviting scent of coffee
I had percolated especially
For you.

I can almost smell the peppermint and see the memories form in my mind. That is a true talent I am so glad that you share it with others. Have a wonderful week Kim and God bless ❤ Kat

Thanks for reading, Kat. Have a great week. I’ll be off line for a few days – it’s my birthday tomorrow – but I’m sure we’ll meet up on here at the weekend!
