My response to Carpe Diem Tan Renga Challenge Month 2017 #6 first autumn morning (Murakami Kijo)
Our haiku today is by Murakami Kijo (1865-1938), a contemporary of Shiki who was influenced by the style of Shiki’s haiku.
The goal of the Tan Renga Challenge is to add our two-line 2nd stanza to the ‘hokku’.
Powerful image.
