swirl of copper leaves
burst of ripened berry blood
colour washed in mist

My response to Carpe Diem #1232 abstract autumn (unknown artist)
Chèvrefeuille has chosen another piece of abstract art, but this time the theme is ‘abstract autumn’, a painting in which we cannot see its trees or anything, but through the colours we know immediately that the painting has to do with autumn. He says it is an opportunity to go with the flow, to think outside the box and create Japanese poetry.
This is one of your best haiku Kim … a masterpiece.
