with every gust of wind
a sigh of seeding grasses
purple misted marsh
with every gust of wind
waves leave imprints in the sand
trace of salty kiss
a sigh of seeding grasses
still warm from late summer sun
a seaside romance
purple misted marsh
drains the sky of sparkling blue
muted autumn hue

My response to Carpe Diem Chèvrefeuille’s Gift #6 gust of wind
In another episode of the special feature, ‘Chèvrefeuille’s Gift to You to Celebrate Our First Luster of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai’, he has challenged us not only to complete a haiku with a given first line but also to create a troiku from the haiku.
I had to look up troiku. What a fun form! Lovely poem sequence (an image), Kim.

Your troiku is lovely I especially Luv the final stanza, with action of the sky being drained of colour. Very fetching image
Happy you dropped by to read mine
Much love…

I like your haiku and the troiku you created with it is really wonderful. I think you have found your way in troiku and it seems to me that you like the form.
