My response to Carpe Diem #1307 The Vessel
Today’s quatrain from the Rubaiyat is the sequel to the previous one:
I think the Vessel, that with fugitive
Articulation answered, once did live,
And merry-make; and the cold Lip I kiss’d
How many Kisses might it take – and give !
