My response to Carpe Diem Weekend-Meditation #15 Soliloquy no Renga “the dust of stars”
This weekend our challenge is to create a Soliloquy no Renga (or a Solo-Renga), a Renga composed by one person. A renga has stanzas of three and two lines. The first stanza or ‘hokku’ gives the title to the renga and sets the entire image of the renga. We can choose how many we use, but there should be at least six, with the last stanza completing the circle by linking with the first. The last stanza is called ‘ageku’.
This weekend the hokku is a haiku by Jane Reichhold.
I like ‘the essence of the universe ‘. A good ageku.
