My response to Carpe Diem #1518 Inkstone and pencil (free style)
Chèvrefeuille says that nowadays we have computers, tablets and smart-phones but in Basho’s days they used inkstone and a pencil. He has reminded us of a previous challenge with this theme and has also given us some examples, including haiku by Issa, Buson and Basho.
Beautiful!
