My response to Carpe Diem #1533 Xenolith
At the end of a month in which we have been celebrating Carpe Diem’s sixth anniversary with prompts following the alphabet, we are now at the letter X for xenolith, a rock fragment which becomes enveloped in a larger rock during the latter’s development and hardening. In geology. It is used almost exclusively to describe inclusions in igneous rock during magma emplacement and eruption. I am also linking this haiku to the Autumn Retreat 2018 Love Eternally

Oh damn! That is word perfect Kim! great job of transcribing “xenolith” …. and absolutely lovely for the sentiments, if considered from a “softer but strength” point of view, which is how I read this 🙂
