morning pollen’s trapped
in tranquility of dew
golden mist rises

My response to Carpe Diem #1638 (delayed post) tranquil (nodoka)
This month we are exploring modern and classical kigo for spring and today we have a classical kigo: tranquil (nodoka). Chèvrefeuille says that he loves the tranquility of an early spring morning, when the sun is slowly rising, birds praise their Creator and slowly but surely tranquility fades away – the world comes alive again after a tranquil night. He has shared two haiku on this topic:

tranquility –
finally I have found peace,
blossoms have fallen
