My response to Carpe Diem #1752 Pilgrimage of the Relics, Maastricht (The Netherlands)

In today’s new episode of the ‘act of devotion’ month we have arrived in the Netherlands, home of Chèvrefeuille, our host. He has chosen a route called The Pilgrimage of the Relics, or Maastricht Septennial Pilgrimage.

    1. And the ‘relics’ probably weren’t even what they thought they were. In The Canterbury Tales by Chaucer, he wrote about the sellers of false relics. Not that different from today’s game news.
