I love the little blue ones… so far I have only seen a few yellow ones.

We get the yellow ones too, but none yet, only white and blue.

Thank you, Kerfe. I tried taking a photo through the window but there was too much reflection and not enough butterfly!

Good thoughts for a loved one need not be muddled through long essays. Sometimes not a word is breathed out Kim, but there is instant connection.

How lovely that such a pretty butterfly is common where you live

We get so many varieties in our garden, but so far this spring I’ve only seen Cabbage Whites and Common Blues. They are one of the reasons I don’t clear all of the nettles and let the honeysuckle run riot.

Your garden sounds lovely. Honeysuckle running riot must smell wonderful.

It does – as soon as I walk out of the back door. Once it has warmed up this morning, I’m opening the window to let the scent in!

I think the haiku is beautiful for this elegant and tiny butterfly. Yes, so hard to photograph and hope you can have a good birthday celebration for your husband and that all are safe and well.
