In our old neighborhood, we had a fox who visited frequently. One dark night he stood in the very middle of the street emitting the loudest hair-raising wail. Your photo made me think of him. Loved your haiku.

Thank you, Christine. The foxes in urban areas are a lot cheekier than the ones out here in the countryside – we never see them but we can smell them!
