Dandelion clocks are a tease,
a generation scattered on the breeze
landing one by one, each seed a moment,
like fairy parachutes. They’re potent
in their propagation: these
tiny embryos take root, silent
Ninjas turning fields and leas
yellow, to the joy of bees.

A quadrille for the Garden of Neuro’s Poetry Circle prompt: ‘one by one’.
This is so lovely, Kim. I love the seeds described as fairy parachutes!
