Colder than Expected
A Christmas morning stroll Along the beach To watch waves roll And seagulls out of reach Turn cartwheels In the frozen clouds Underfoot there is a crunch Of sand and pebbles Instead of snow As we call the dogs And turn for home And Christmas lunch. ©Kim M. Russell, 2015
