This is my second contribution to Jacqueline’s ‘Echoes of My Neighbourhood’ challenge. Every Thursday we share photos of our neighbourhood and link them to Jacqueline’s post. Last week we saw photographs of sunny Maui, learned something about Filipino martial arts, shivered at snow in various places, salivated at gorgeous fruit and saw any number of interesting buildings and people.
One road goes through our village. Here’s the village sign.
We have a pub, a church, a private art school that once was the village school – and nothing else. The nearest shops, post offices and other amenities are in towns more than five miles each way. But we do have some spectacular trees.
As you can see, our village is surrounded by fields and farmland. It’s great for walking and, of course, boating on the Norfolk Broads.
Gorgeous sky. I kinda like the idea of going a bit far away to get stuff. I love an excuse for a jaunt, so I ‘ll probably pretend that I going on an important expedition 😊

Wow that is so cool. Do you have any lighthouse near where you live? I collect lighthouses and I don’t have any from England yet. LOL

Yes, we do have a lighthouse not far from us and I have blogged about it. Here is the link: https://writinginnorthnorfolk.com/2015/10/12/the-afternoon-of-sunday-11th-october-2015-was-memorable/
You can also find a poem I wrote about it linked to this post. 🙂
