Driving back from this morning’s Bounce and Rhyme session at the local library, I passed a field in the process of being ploughed, which inspired this poem.
feathery flock
a splash
of white
g u l l s
CRASH
of wing waves
against
rich brown earth
churned and cr
um
bl
ing
studded with stones
after
the crust of winter
has been
removed
and
spring’s tenderness
exposed

Thanks! I haven’t done one of those for a while. The original has more movement because I was able to play around with fonts and things. I should have turned it into a jpeg and posted it as a picture.
