My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie B&P’s Shadorma & Beyond – Spring Activities
Prune over-hanging branches
Of rambling rose and honeysuckle
Give the bay tree a haircut
Remove the belt and buckle
And trim the woody dill stalks
Do battle
With nettles
And other pernicious weeds
Organise raised beds
Ready for a herb garden
Bay, rosemary and thyme
Basil, mint and chives
Under all the fruit trees
Plant wood anemones
Forget-me-nots
Foxgloves
Violets
And don’t forget –
Primroses for next spring!

Bravo! how busy you are in spring … but what a fantastic garden you must have! I really enjoyed a peek into your spring activities!

Thank you ,Georgia. That’s the list – all I’ve done so far is receive some primroses from a neighbour! I can’t wait to get started but have been laid up by a bad chest infection. 😦

Sorry about the chest infection! Hopefully you’ll be up and about very very soon.

To be able to clear the air and the lungs (I do hope you are feeling much better) and step out into the gift of new life waiting to burst! Nothing quite like it – even if it is hard work.
