My response to Carpe Diem #1104 Libertango by Sofia Gubaidulina

In this episode, the composer is a Russian one and her name is Sofia Gubaidulina and the piece of music is her arrangement of Astor Piazzola’s Libertango for piano and bassoon, which I only know as a song by Grace Jones. ‘I’ve seen that face before’ from the album Nightclubbing.
