Spring arrives
in starts and stops,
a dripping tap
melting winter,
forming puddles,
filling rivers.
In the monochrome
of dawn and dusk,
silhouettes drip and drop,
ink drawings
sliding off umbrellas
as a sudden blustery
wind turns treetops
into a roaring sea.

Spring and Autumn – those in-between seasons, muted and no extremes – wonderful!

I loved the way this sound when I read it aloud. It just has a terrific rhythm. I also like the slow pace you created being blown apart by the blustery winds.
