the last snow crystal
sparkles on cherry blossom
beauty of spring thaw
shady sunflower
a gaudy beach parasol
in summer heat waves
gathering storm clouds
thunder in a horse’s hooves
hot summer meadow
a trembling poplar
heart-shaped leaves exhale balsam
in the autumn rain

My response to Carpe Diem Chèvrefeuille’s Gift #1 full circle “new life”
The celebration of the 5th anniversary of Carpe Diem has already started with a new special feature: ‘Chèvrefeuille’s Gift to You to Celebrate our First Luster of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai’, which consists of episodes of the CD special features. Today it’s a new episode of the Full Circle feature, in which the goal is to use twelve words to create four haiku, following the numbers 1 to 12; for example, in the first haiku we have to use words 1 to 3 in the given order.
1. snow
2. blossom
3. beauty
4. sunflower
5. beach
6. waves
7. clouds
8. horse
9. meadow
10. poplar
11. leaves
12. rain
Wow Kim what a nice series of haiku you have created with this full circle. Chapeau!
