So romantic!! I have memories of saying goodbye to family living in a railway town…I wish I had passed my time at the station more to jot down stories. Hmmm, that’s a great idea to go the Central Station in MOntreal…I pass there every day to go to work…maybe getting there an hour earlier…I love watching people there.

I’ve dreamed of visiting Canada since I was a teenager. Montreal is totally exotic to me. Now I’m going to have to look up pictures of Central Station!

The only trip abroad I ever made in 1977 to UK We did England and Scotland and Wales. our first stop from London was CaMbridge…ThTs the closest to Norfolk even if it’s not that close

Cambridge is lovely but very expensive to live in. The fenland that surrounds it is amazing but bleak in the winter.

I went in September and found it so romantic! My other favourite place was Lake District. I had retuned to university that year taking Intro to English Literature, so the trip was perfect!
