Born of hopes and dreams,
roped to its creator
by words, sounds, paint, clay or stone,
each oeuvre becomes tactile
blood, skin and bone.
It exposes both the soul and heart –
a demanding offspring, art.

  3. Wow very deep! I also like the painting of how the person is almost going into the painting as it is the skin of art in a way! Thank you for sharing, I hope to see more inspiration from you soon. Are you an artist yourself? If you’d like I am a new blogger, and would love any suggestions you have for me! I hope you have a beautiful weekend 🙂 I know it is raining here, but hope it’s better over there for you!

    1. Thank you so much for reading and commenting. I used to draw and paint but lean more to photography now as one of many springboards to poetry. I enjoy writing ekphrastic poetry, which is more interesting when it’s someone else’s work. I’ll drop by your blog later on today. 🙂
