My response to Carpe Diem #1707 cooling on the porch (hashi-i), classical haiku
Today our challenge is to create haiku following the classical rules with a classical kigo from the Shiki Saijiki, ‘cooling on the porch (hashi-i)’, part of the section ‘summer’, subsection ‘humanity’.
