chlorophyll and oxygen
luminous bubbles

at the bottom of the pool
hidden secret world
shadows and light

those fireflies
hovering deliciously
surreptitious frog

My response to Carpe Diem #1771 Troiku Challenge: Firefly

While Carpe Diem celebrates its 7th birthday, we are honouring ‘small creatures’ of nature, and today we are working with fireflies. The goal is to create a troiku with a given haiku by Buson. A tricky prompt!
