fragile beauty
written with frosty fingers
a dawn haiku
cranberries covered with sugar
a taste of winter
yet to come
first hoarfrost
fragile cobweb spans the gate
magical

My response to Carpe Diem #1840 Hoarfrost
Chèvrefeuille reminds us that it’s pretty much winter in the Northern hemisphere and we have already had our first hoarfrost, the fragile kind of frost created by fog, which is why the task for today is to create a Troiku with a haiku written by our host:
fragile beauty
cranberries covered with sugar
first hoarfrost
by Chèvrefeuille
This is beautiful. But now I’m angry at myself. I read “Troiku” but translated it to “Tanka,” which is what I wrote.
I wish I had a brain.

Nice, like the spider web, I find their structure so fascinating it has, I, believe inspired architects for structures like bridges.
