You took me for a drive and we pointed out the places where something added colour and texture to our life. And here we are, growing older by a river, surrounded by trees and wildlife; only yesterday, you pointed out a heron flying by. This morning, the sun is shining; I can see wood pigeons kissing on the cable overhead, a plane drawing chalk marks in a clear sky, underlining this love poem that I offer up to you in azure blue. Kim M. Russell, 10th April 2022

One third of the way through NaPoWriMo 2022, we are writing Sunday love poems! Sadly, I missed the opportunity to photograph the pigeons – by the time I found my camera, they had flown away. I found the cute image by Miha Rekar on Unsplash.
So lovely. Good morning, Kim.

Good morning, Marilyn! Do you have sunshine too?

Clouds, but it’s bright (if you know what I mean). And I hear lawnmowers. It’s spring for sure.
