Making Sense of the Present

This poem’s written in the present
time, place and tense,
proof of my presence on earth,
and the message I meant,
when you read it in the future
and wonder if it makes sense.
I’m making it clear
so there will be no dissent.

We’re dancing the Quadrille at the dVerse Poets Pub, with Lill and her prompt word: present, in all of its meanings and forms. Our poems must have 44 words and include the prompt word.

  1. Kim, you’ve written a challenge that I will not accept. Except to say it isn’t present today, it’s tomorrow. I came too late for the today.
Thanks, Kim, for peeking in on me yesterday, I’m glad you came, I consider you as my mentor, encourager for sure. Glad too you went out last night, we like the Irish pubs, about nine they break out with Irish singing.
