What a precious piece, Kim. It sings the photo into life (and death) and it’s so perfect for the approaching season. Also, the tone makes me think of Bradbury’s Something Wicked this Way Comes.

It makes complete sense. The eeriness that fills the world of Woman in Black also makes me think of Halloween… Then again, it is possible that with the season approaching, I’m seeing Halloween everywhere. 🙂

There’s a candlelit tour of a local heritage house, Holkham Hall, at the end of October. It has a reputation for being haunted. I really want to go!
