Native Town

my native town
far, far away–
burgeoning trees

Santoka Taneda

my native town
smaller than I remember
fading memories

far, far away
summer lasts forever
drenched in peach juice

burgeoning trees
gentle breeze rustles petals
scenting my dreams

  1. lovely! loved the idea of summer being drenched in peach juice – so evocative and layered – conjures superb images 🙂
